Father’s Day gift idea: Make him some shave soap, and the kids can help
Father’s Day is coming and if you’re looking for a last minute gift, how about making him some nice shave soap?
I got this in an email recently and saw these shave soap kits on this soap making site. The kit is geared for kids to help/do and includes a shaving brush. The kit lists for $12.95.
Looking at the info and the website and such, sounds like this could be a fun little project. If dad likes it, think about upgrading his brush though.
I would put in one note of caution to maybe do a little testing of the soap before you go full bore on shaving with it.
The soap has natural ingredients, and soap making isn’t hard, but done wrong, the soap could cause irritation.
I don’t think my contest for Father’s Day is going to come together, so I’ll be doing some posts on great gifts for your groovy, groomin’ dad. If you have suggestions, send them along!
