Now I know I’m really into the health-beauty-style scene because Eden Spodek tagged me in a beauty tips challenge–Bargainista: Revealing my beauty secrets tag challenge.  As the only guy on the list, I’m going to hold my own here, but frankly guys do have a totally different sense/routine for looking good.

It’s a social thing, of course, it wasn’t always this way either.  Men have gone through their times of make up and primping, right now, well not so much.

Eden had a whole list of stuff that she answered, most makeup.  Since I didn’t wear makeup even in the 80s when eyeliner was sorta in style, I’m going to have to do the man’s list.

Shave cream: I’m digging the Nivea gel I tried recently.  Really I don’t have a huge amount of brand loyalty here.  Does it work?  Does it smell okay?  On sale?  I’m there.

Razor: Gillette Fusion.  I am going to stick with this because I do like it better than the Mach 3

After shave: until recently I just put on some Burberry Brit and called it done, but recently I’ve been putting on some after-shave balm.  Does it help?  Umm, maybe?

Hair: This is easy.  I have been putting “goop” in my hair for a while.  Right now, since I have short hair I’ve been using Woody’s head wax pomade (it’s waxy).

Umm … yeah that’s pretty much it.

Guys with style?  Style mags?  Men in the forties had great style.  Right now?  Really this not an easy thing.  I don’t really think about that.

So as I tag my channel-mates here, they are going to have to refer to Eden’s post for the full list of questions … foundation? Mascara?  I think not.

Okay ladies (yes, all b5 folks because I don’t really know other beauty bloggers) …
