Manscaping tips: The nose, knows. Yeah you have to trim the nose hair spiders
I love the title of this post–Why Does My Nose Itch? | 4mind4body… for man–cause it reminds me of when I first figured out why my nose was itching all the time.
It took me days, maybe a week to figure it out (when my glasses are on I can’t focus on stuff like that in the mirror, without I have to be almost touching the mirror to see). Ugh, I thought, how long has that freakin’ hair been there? Well that was a long time ago and since then …
So, we all know how. We know not to pluck them (hurts like a sonofabitch just begins to describe it).
So there is the trimming option. From personal experience, the scissors on your Swiss Army knife aren’t a good option. Really, don’t. Trust me.
My dad had a great pair of blunted scissors, but I’ve never seen them since, and I’ve looked. I have a sharp pair of mustache trimming scissors, but I’m not putting those up my nose thank you very much.
In my goatee post I mentioned my Philips trimmer which has the basic trimmer attachment. Yeah, it works.
Guys, look, I know we don’t like to get into this. So, really let’s just laugh at it. Nose spiders, well they are just one of the joys of being guys. Now ear hair … man that bugs me.

Sometimes those little buggers are just hard to get to and blunted scissors work well for both nose hair and ear hair… because stabbing yourself in the process with a pair of sharp scissors is just unacceptable. I have a great pair I use from time to time that came in my Tweezerman Deluxe Grooming Kit.
Happy Trimming!

Blunted scissors are great. Of course the electric trimmer is fast, but not perfect I’ve found.

Yeah, the blunted scissors are the best solution. I have heard that in a head to head , (nose to nose?), test of electric trimmers the Panasonic worked the best. I have yet to try one myself.
Then there are these things: http://www.groommate.com/
Anybody ever try these?

I hate trimming my nose hairs. I haven’t tried blunted scissors but I just found this 3 in 1 groomer from richardsolo.com. It cuts cleanly and doesn’t pull or tickle AND comes with a free cleaning brush.
